Fitness Class Descriptions:
These are generic descriptions, class content may vary dependant upon the instructor.
Ab Attack / Ab Killer: A class working on the mid section of the body, concentrating on balancing out posture, strengthening, toning and defining abdominal area.
Aerobics: Classic aerobics, a combination of high and low moves all to fun music. A great fat burner.
Body Pump: Body Pump is the fastest way to shape up & lose body fat. It is a toning and conditioning class with weights and is for just about everybody.
Body Blast: An aerobic and weight bearing workout that is designed to tone and trim all those problem areas and burn those calories.
Ciardio Blitz: A high energy, high impact aerobic workout, effective at improving fitness and aiding weight loss by burning unwanted calories.
Circuits: A high energy, high impact workout that incorporates a wide variety of aerobic and resistance exercises, effective at improving fitness and body toning.
Kai Bo: A non-contact , martial arts based fitness programme with moves drawn from Karate, Tae Kwan Doe, Kung Fu, KIckboxing, Muay Thai & Tai Chi.
Legs, Bums & Tums: Warm up and then tone, tone, tone! Exercises performed on specific muscle groups to tone the body.
Pilates: A multi muscle workout concentrating on core strength, promoting flexibility and mobility.
Spinning/Spin: Spin is a low impact workout which is both fun and challenging. Enjoy climbing and racing down hill on fixed wheel stationary bikes. Burn calories and condition your body in this adrenalin filled class.
Max Step: High/low Step combination moves on the box. An excellent way to burn off those unwanted calories.
Yoga: Improves flexibility, strength and posture and relaxation and is suitable for all fitness levels.
Zumba / Salsa Fitness: Inspired by traditional Cumbia, Salsa, Samba and Merengue music, it pair’s pulsating Latin rhythms with the red-hot international dance steps! A Fantastic way to spice up your Workout.
All Fitness Classes are included in your gym membership, however if you are not a member you may still join in. Classes cost just £5
